Progressive activist Robert Milnes, a declared candidate for the Libertarian Party’s 2016 presidential nomination was locked out from his New Jersey residence a week ago, due to rent delinquency. Milnes subsequently took refuge in his sister’s basement, but was removed from there as well. It is unclear where he is now staying.
Milnes, 61, has run for president in every election since 2004, lobbying third parties to nominate a Libertarian and Progressive fusion ticket, an initiative he refers to as PLAS (Progressive Libertarian Alliance Strategy).
